What a wonderful place. Beautiful views, friendly staff, delicious food. I had this place on my list of “want to tries” for a few years when they were a food truck. I finally caught up with them at this gorgeous permanent location. I had the fresh pickerel dinner- it was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the salmon casserole- she couldn’t finish it all. The bread pudding and blueberry cobbler are not to be missed. 5stars- we will definitely be back!!

I can't say enough great about this place. I'm new around here. And the folks at the marina when I came with boat were amazing. I came back to eat with people and Miss. Eli, knocked it out of the park with service and respect. Then I ran into a delicate while separating. I needed a place to let things settle at my house. There was 5 minutes left until close and I was 40 minutes away. Yet the lady on the phone spoke with Miss. Rose and had me accommodated for the night on my word to pay in the morning. Who does this stuff anymore? This place does. This morning. I had a talk with Miss. Rose about my situation. She listened. She talked with me. I even cried a little. And she didn't make me feel awkward. As a 6ft3 & 270lbs man lol. So in all. This place is awesome. I thank all of you. L&R

Love the new decor both inside and on the deck of this lovely restaurant on Wahnapitae First Nation on the shores of beautiful Lake Wahnapitae. The food was great with a diverse menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you make the trek north of Capreol to this culinary gem!

We recently had my mom’s celebration of life at Hiawatha's. The food was incredible. Everyone was raving about it. The service was exceptional. The girls working and manager were so accommodating, and friendly. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my dinner. I had a burger and poutine. The fries are fresh and not frozen. Yum! It was a great place for our quiet date, though it will probably get very busy now that the temp dropped and it snowed like crazy. Posted up-to-date menu.

We had heard of this place and decided to check it out for the scenery plus the food. The restaurant is inside the First Nations area and the food reflects that. The scenery of the restaurant is also spectacular We started off with the bread and also got the meatballs…the bread was good and I am told the meatballs were excellent! We then got the burgers, the fish and chips and veggies. Portion size was very big and flavor was good. Overall great service, fantastic atmosphere, big portion size and decent flavor
